Persiah Muthoni Masinde

Persiah Muthoni Masinde is a minister in her own right.  She has been involved with Deliverance Church from the days of its inception in the 1970’s, where she actively served in the choir.  She has served alongside her husband John Brown Masinde since their marriage in 1976 and the founding of Deliverance Church Umoja in 1984.

A soft spoken woman in and outside the pulpit, she has a rare ability in communicating to her audience by lovingly using practical everyday life illustrations.  As a wife, she is ready and ever willing to release her husband to minister to the nations as a gift to the body of Christ.

She has raised 5 children, 4 daughters and a son, and is now a grandmother to two.  She plays an active role at Deliverance Church Umoja where her husband is the founder and senior pastor of a congregation of 8,000 strong memberships.  She is the founder and Adviser of the Ladies Ministry.

Over the years in her professional work she has worked with the Tea Board of Kenya, Coffee Board of Kenya, Kenya Industrial Estates, World Vision International and currently the United Nations.  She travels with her husband and on her own to minister both locally and internationally
