Bishop Dr. J.B Masinde

Bishop J.B Masinde is the Senior Pastor and founder of Deliverance Church Umoja, which he founded in 1984. He is married to Persiah Muthoni Masinde and together they have five children namely Joy, Joan, Peace, Phillipa and Paul. He has two grand children Nicole and Christian by Steve & Joy Mdivo.

The Lord had greatly blessed his work in Umoja and the congregation has grown to about 8,000 members at present. A new campus has recently opened on Ngong Road, right next to China Centre.

He is the General Secretary of Deliverance Church Ministry that now covers Kenya, Uganda and Zambia with over 1200 congregations worldwide.

He is part of the Apostolic Council of Salt and Light. He is a renowned teacher of the Word and maintains a regular international itinerary that takes him to around the World. Bishop also hosts the popular weekly programme, Refreshing Times T.V which airs on Nation TV as well as online to the rest of the world.

HIS VISION IS TO WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT IN REACHING THE WORLD FOR CHRIST, MAKING DISCIPLES AND RELEASING THEM INTO THE MINISTRY AND PRESENTING THE CHURCH AS A FITTING BRIDE TO CHRIST IN ETERNITY. EQUIPPING BELIEVERS FOR THE WORK OF THE MINISTRY.
